Overview

K-iary is an encrypted diary application for Windows. By default, K-iary operates locally on your device.

Data We Process

K-iary processes diary content that you create, including rich text, markdown text, timestamps, and local app settings needed for the app to function.

Where Data Is Stored

Diary data is stored locally on your Windows device in an encrypted file located under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Kiary\diary.edry.

Encryption

Diary content is encrypted at rest using your master password. You are responsible for keeping your master password secure.

Data Sharing

K-iary does not automatically upload diary content to external servers. Data may leave your device only when you explicitly export content or share files yourself.

Import And Export

If you import files into K-iary, those files are processed on your device. If you export content, exported files may not remain encrypted depending on format and destination.

Children's Privacy

K-iary is not directed to children under 13 and does not intentionally collect personal data from children through online services.

Changes To This Policy

This policy may be updated over time. Material updates will be reflected by changing the "Last updated" date on this page.
